HAPPY FERRETING!

Welcome to the
Inland Northwest Ferret Association!
|
Our
goals are to
promote and educate the public about the domestic ferret, ferret care
and their routine health, maintenance and vaccinations. We hope that
together as a team, we will reduce the number of unwanted ferrets in the
shelters, while being there for those ferret owners who need our
assistance. We want to educate the public about the importance of
domestic ferrets with hopes of changing their views about these |

AFA
Ferret (M. putorius furo) Vaccination Policy
| The American Ferret Association
(AFA) recommends vaccinating ferrets with USDA
licensed vaccine products labeled for use in
ferrets. Recent changes in the availability of
these products have caused shortages of approved
vaccines. The AFA's Health Affairs Committee has
issued a revised (August, 2006) Ferret
Vaccination Policy in response to these
shortages.
